Open Handguards: Setup, Protection & Ride Style

Open Handguards: Setup, Protection & Ride Style

Whether you're charging hard in the dirt or leaning deep into asphalt corners, one thing’s guaranteed: roost, debris, and unexpected hits are part of the ride. And that’s where the right setup makes all the difference.

Open Handguards are a key upgrade for riders who want lightweight protection without sacrificing control or style. But it’s not just bolt-on and go, dialing in your setup is what unlocks real performance.

Find your perfect match with Circuit!

Why go Open?

Unlike "Wraparound" (closed) handguards, open guards are the go-to for riders who want versatility without the bulk. They are the perfect choice for:

  • Off-Road: Where agility is everything. They shield your hands and levers from roost and mud without trapping your hands if you have to "bail" or high-side during a crash;
  • On-road: Want that Street Style look without losing your bike’s original lines? They’re perfect for blocking wind, road debris, and those tight clips in lane-splitting traffic. Plus, they feature high-quality, UV-resistant materials so they won't fade under the sun.

There’s a reason rising stars like Zach Pichon and Alberto Elgari trust our gear. If it’s good enough to win championships on the tough trails in Enduro GP, it’s good enough for your rig.

Installation: Fast, Easy & Universal

Installation Fast, Easy & Universal
  1. Assembly: Mounting an open handguard is a breeze. First, secure the guard to the mounting arm using the provided screws (C). Then, insert the hex inserts (A) into the arm;
  2. Positioning: Find the sweet spot on your handlebars—either inside or outside your brake/clutch perches—and secure it using the screws (B);
  3. Safety Check: Before you pin the throttle, ensure your levers have full range of motion. The guard should never interfere with clutch or brake operation. Safety first, always.

HEADS UP: IF YOU’RE NOT SURE ABOUT THE FIT, CONSULT YOUR LOCAL MECHANIC OR SPECIALIZED TECHNICIAN.
